Curriculum

Children who participate in PreK programs develop language skills and social skills. At treehouse learning academy, our educated teaching staff build lesson plans that help your child explore nature, with a hands on approach. Allowing children to develop a lifelong connection with the wonder and beauty of nature. At Treehouse Learning Academy we use the Creative Curriculum.

A nature preschool program uses the natural world to support the development of the child in all domains, cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual, and the development of an ecological identity with an environmental ethic.

Treehouse learning academy’s 2 year old program offers the beginning exploration of nature to students. We focus on vocabulary, colors, shapes, numbers, sounds, music, and art, while nurturing fine motor skills, interaction with peers, through and identity of the world around them.

The three year old program introduces math, literacy, science, with nature exploration. Students are immersed in the wonder of the world and how things grow. Students work in a group setting hands on through centers, outdoor play, themes, and team involvement. We allow students the ability to express themselves with art, music, exploration, while introducing beginning fundamentals of Math, Science, Literacy, and Gardening,

VPK classes explore with knowledge of the environment. The program focuses on Math, Science, Literacy, with exploration into nature. While in the program you child will explore with Cooking, Gardening, Art, and Music. While building motor skills, and a love for the world around them.

VPK is a voluntary PreK program that is Free for children born on or before September 1. and who is a resident in the State of Florida. The program offers a foundation and education to nurture and build skills for students entering Kindergarten.
